Home Paul Bardagjy Photography Portfolios Info

Paul Bardagjy brings formal training in art and design to his 25-year career in commercial photography. With a focus on architecture, Paul has developed his trademark style, blending a contemporary approach to composition with an artist’s use of light.

Paul maintains an international practice from his studio in Austin, Texas. His clients are among the leading design and architecture firms, including Dick Clark Architecture, Gensler, HOK, HKS, Lake/Flato, and RTKL.

His project photography has won design awards from the Institute of Business Designers, the International Interior Design Association, the American Society of Interior Designers, the Texas Society of Architects, and the Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and New York chapters of the American Institute of Architects.

Paul’s body of work also includes art and travel photography. He has documented a collection of recently acquired 20th century sculptures for UT Landmarks, the public art program at the University of Texas. This impressive exhibit of 28 large-scale sculptures is on long-term loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In 2009 and 2010, Paul photographed the Villa at Oplontis, a 2,000 year-old villa owned by Emperor Nero. The 100,000 square foot site is located just outside of Pompeii and houses beautifully preserved frescoes from the early Roman Empire.

Among the publications that have featured Paul's work are Architectural Digest, Architecture Magazine, Metropolitan Home, Travel & Leisure, This Old House, Trends, Luxe, Interior Design, Texas Monthly, ESPN, Texas Architect, Natural Home, and numerous books.
